When King the cat got viciously kicked and punted in the air by a jubilant Andre Robinson, dozens of cat lovers formed a Facebook page for King the cat and attended Andre’s court hearings to show support for King. “I’m here because I’m an animal lover and I think that if we, as a society, can’t protect the weakest among us – what good are we?” said Margaret Lee of Manhattan, who was wearing a silver cat pin on her lapel .
While Andre Robinson heads to court and faces up to one year in prison, King the kicked cat is doing nicely after being adopted by an anonymous person who wanted to give King a good home. Hopefully while King enjoys his new home, Andre Robinson can enjoy his new home too behind bars.
