A house caught fire in South Carolina and firefighters rushed in. When they got inside the burning home, they found a cat named Soldier, passed out from the smoke. Just like saving a person, the South Carolina firefighters rushed Soldier outside and used a miniature oxygen mask that they keep specifically to treat any pets they find in burning homes.

After a few minutes of CPR and oxygen, Soldier woke up and was reunited with his family again. The fact that the South Carolina firefighters keep little oxygen masks for pets shows how prepared they are to save lives. The next time you’re in South Carolina, thank the firefighters for their heroic work. They deserve it.
