For some odd reason, many people feel that their own culture is superior in all ways to everything else in the world. Then there’s a another segment of the population that believes other cultures are superior to their own. The truth likely lies somewhere in between with each culture having advantages and disadvantages.
In case you think the Japanese are always superior or always inferior, you might want to read the strange manga book series nicknamed Apocalypse Meow, which tells the story of American soldiers in Vietnam where the Americans are actually different animals in a platoon known as Cat Shit One. If this doesn’t make you question the sanity of some cartoonists out there, then nothing will.
