While blacks protest police brutality in Ferguson, MO, people in Albion, Michigan have to deal with a new law that penalizes people for feeding stray cats. An 81- year old Alzheimer’s sufferer from Tampa named Mary Musselman has been locked away for nearly 3 months for feeding animals in her yard. Violators caught feeding cats may be hit with $100-$500 in fines and up to 90 days in jail.
If you think your government has nothing ether to do than raise revenue by harassing the public, there’s probably no place in the world where you can avoid idiotic laws and government officials. Fortunately cats are often more intelligent than government officials, so perhaps we should pass a law allowing the feeding of cats and the starvation of government officials.
