Many people think that cats are cold-hearted killers, but that’s because they’re mistaking cats for radical extremists. While cats are often aloof to humans, they can be surprisingly friendly to more intelligent forms of life such as other animals. As the above video demonstrates, cats can even befriend deer.
Perhaps the cat just thinks the deer is a larger cat, or maybe the cat has discovered that far too many people are too dense that conversing with another animal is the only way to get an intelligent conversation from its surroundings.
