After turning into an Internet sensation, Grumpy Cat has earned an estimated £64 million fortune, which is more than Hollywood stars Nicole Kidman, Cameron Diaz and Matthew McConaughey.
Owner Tabatha Bundesen from Morristown, Arizona, said the two-year-old moggy is ‘unstoppable’. ‘I was able to quit my job as a waitress within days of her first appearance on social media and the phone simply hasn’t stopped ringing since.’
Grumpy Cat has 521,000 followers on Instagram and 255,000 on Twitter and her face appears on calendars, mugs and T-shirts in addition to her own book and Lifetime movie. Although not every cat can become an Internet sensation, every cat can certainly bring joy to an owner’s life while costing that same owner unlimited amount of expenses through shredding drapes, sheets, clothes, and anything else of value in the house.
