Fifteen years a woman named Rebecca had to move to Florida. Unfortunately, she couldn’t keep her older cat so she gave her up for adoption to another home. Even though Rebecca gave up her cat, she had implanted a microchip in her cat named Erin Rose.

When Erin Rose wound up in an animal shelter, the shelter personal discovered her microchip. Tracking Rebecca down proved a bit difficult but when they finally did so, they found that Rebecca couldn’t afford to have Erin Rose flown back to her, so shelter supporters chipped in to reunite Erin Rose with Rebecca. Fifteen years later, Rebecca and Erin Rose are together again, so if this type of reunion sounds heart warming, consider having your cat microchipped as well so your cat will always be able to find you again.
