Although most people can adopt a cat with little problems, many states in America have specific laws concerning cat ownership. While reading laws can be as exciting watching your cat shed, it may still be important for you to understand the laws in your particular area so you don’t risk breaking them by mistake.
Then again, cats break the rules all the time and they can get away with it by looking cute and fluffy. So the next time a police officer tries to arrest you, flip over on your back and look helpless. It might work for your cat, but at least it will show that you’re mentally unstable so you can claim temporary insanity and get away from any legal consequences.
