What do Oakland, New York, Denver, Colorado, San Diego, and Naples, Florida all have in common? They all have some of the first cat cafes opened in the United States.
“You can come here and play with the animals, and if you fall in love with one, you are welcome to take it home,” Tony Wang, general manager of the San Diego Cat Cafe, told Efe. The Cat Cafe opened its doors last month and has already found new homes for 10 cats.
Cat cafes are perfect for people who can’t have a cat of their own or who want to meet and play with a cat before adopting it. Even if you already have a cat, you can still relax in the tranquil environment of a cat cafe just to enjoy being around cats when you can’t be home with your own cats.
