Sometimes there’s a fine line between art and insanity. In this case, Housetu Sato and his students at the Japan School of Wool Art created a large cat head out of needle-felted wool. The idea is that it’s large enough to fit over a human head.

Whether you consider this a nightmare or just something odd that the Japanese cooked up due to their lack of stimulus on their island nation, the end result is a potentially terrifying image if you saw someone with a giant cat head coming at you down a dark alley.
