The common belief is that cats don’t like water, and for the most part that’s true. However there are some cats who actually don’t mind water because they like going fishing or because they come from areas of the world with a large coastline so seeing and being near water is something they’re used to.
If giving your cat a bath has always been a chore, consider making your next cat one that likes water. At least it won’t put up much of a fight when you give it a bath so you can spare you arms from getting scratched.
