There are cat cafes popping up all over the world. Initially cat cafes seemed isolated in Asia but then they spread to Europe and finally to North America. Now Montreal is getting a cat cafe, but it isn’t just any ordinary cat cafe. It might be the first vegan cat cafe in North America and maybe even the world.
“Loving and protecting animals is about loving and protecting all of them, not just companion animals,” explains Summer Geraghty, the owner of Cafe Venosa. “A vegan cat cafe seemed like the only rational solution.”
Like all cat cafes, you can play with cats and adopt one at any time. Besides snacking on vegan offerings, you can also enjoy the art gallery in the cat cafe as well.
