If you lived in a land where endangered species were threatened by house cats, what would you do? In the case of Australia, they may pass a law forcing owners to keep their domestic cats inside at all times, especially near conservation areas

The call from the country’s first “threatened species commissioner,” Gregory Warner, comes after the country announced a cull of 2 million feral cats.

“The plan over the long term is to make this part of our culture, and then it becomes normalized,” said Warner. “It’s a journey that Australia has to go on.”

Will keeping cats inside all the time be necessary? Or is this measure too drastic? Australia may decide soon so make your voice heard either way and decide if there might be a better solution.
