While this picture might look like a new super villain from a comic book, it’s actually a cat that used up one of its nine lives when it got caught in a kitchen fire in New Orleans. Firefighters pulled the limp body of the cat and put an animal oxygen mask on it.
Amazingly the oxygen mask revived the cat and it’s now recovering. That lucky cat survived the blaze while two other cats were more fortunate and escaped the fire without needing the help of firefighters.
So the next time you see a firefighter, thank them for all they do to save people and animals. Your cat might one day appreciate their help.
