“First Blood” is actually an interesting action movie that tries to examine the emotional turmoil a Vietnam veteran might face in a town that doesn’t want him. The subsequent Rambo sequels just ratchet up the action and ignore any subtleties whatsoever.
Perhaps that’s why one person’s cat finds “Rambo Part II” so confusing. When a movie consists of just mindless action that turns warfare into clear and unambiguous black and white questions, it’s no wonder cats might suddenly be confused. While humans may want simplistic answers to complex problems, cats are more intelligent and demand intelligent answers to complex questions. Perhaps that’s why cats are superior to humans.
