When most people think of cats, they think of the standard breed, but there are plenty of odd variations of cats that make them look like creatures from another planet. Perhaps one of the strangest is the Lykoi cat, which gets its name from the Greek word for wolf.
The cats’ unique appearance is the result of a natural mutation of a domestic shorthair, giving them thin hair and no fur around their eyes, nose, underbelly and paws. The end result is a cat that looks like a miniature werewolf.
If you want an unusual cat, perhaps you might want to adopt a Lykoi cat just in time for Halloween. Then again, any cat you adopt will likely terrorize you 24 hours a day so just get any cat and watch your life get turned upside down.
