Some cats love to travel while many are simply terrified of being anywhere outside their familiar surroundings. In case you need to travel with a cat, you need to take precautions ahead of time to make your travel enjoyable while keeping your cat safe at the same time.

If you’re going to travel long distances, prepare a cat carrier that’s roomy enough for the cat to move around and be surrounded by familiar items such as blankets and toys. More importantly, make sure your cat has identification tags and a microchip in case it gets separated from you.
