In 1998, Ralph was adopted by a family and had a microchip implanted in him. A few years later, Ralph went missing. For the next fourteen years, the family never knew what happened to Ralph.
Then one day an animal control officer picked up a cat by the side of the street and took it to an animal clinic. The animal clinic scanned for a microchip, found the family’s old information, and contacted the family. After fourteen years, Ralph had finally come home again.
Sadly, Ralph was 17-years old and finally passed away. How Ralph survived all this time without a family remains a mystery, but at least Ralph got back with his family in the end so they never had to wonder what ever became of their cat so long ago.
