House cats are so lovable partially because they’re small, cute and harmless. Big cats aren’t often as lovable because they’re huge and far more likely to rip your head off and feast on your flesh than a house cat would ever do (although your house cat might think about this at times).

In Disney’s animated film “The Jungle Book,” Shere Khan is a Bengal tiger who rules the jungle through fear and intimidation. The other animals rightfully fear Shere Khan, who enjoys taunting and tormenting his victims. For some reason Shere Khan hates humans and specifically targets Mowgli.
