One of the most famous cats from Disney’s animated films is the Cheshire Cat from “Alice in Wonderland.” While everyone else in Wonderland seems totally mad and unhelpful to Alice, the Cheshire Cat is one of the few characters who actually helps Alice by showing her the way to the Red Queen’s gardens.
Of course the Cheshire Cat likes playing pranks on everyone around him, so it’s no surprise that he frustrated the Red Queen and confuses Alice, which means the Cheshire Cat more closely resembles a real cat than most Disney animated cats could ever do.
