In Winnie the Pooh, Tigger is a bouncy, flouncy, rubbery tiger who loves bouncing on people. Despite his arrogance, Tigger is friendly and kind to most people around him. His arrogance often just gets him caught in sticky situations such as when he bounces his way to the top of a tree and then can’t get back down again.
However his arrogance often helps him as much as it hinders him. When Rabbit concocts a plan to lose Tigger in the woods, it’s Rabbit who gets lost instead and Tigger who rescues Rabbit. Tigger makes claims about himself that just as often prove false as they do turn out to be true, but his cheerfulness keeps most everyone happy with his presence.
