The next time you hear your car engine humming while you drive, it may not be a mechanical noise but the sound of a cat purring.
Lilian Stewart, from Jacksonville, Florida first “heard meowing” that seemed to come from her car on Wednesday night but she “didn’t think much of it” because a lot of stray cats lived in her area.
But on Thursday, after work, she found a note on her windshield that read, “I think there is a cat stuck under (inside) your car. I keep hearing a meow. Please check.”
With the help of others, Lilian checked her car engine and finally spotted a cat hiding inside. Amazingly, she had driven the car around for two days with the cat hiding in the engine.
