Many people spend their time sending pictures of cats over the Internet. Now you’ll be happy to know that many people in academia do this as well. In fact, they’re holding a contest called Academics with Cats.
The goal of the contest is to vote for best photo in the following CATegories: academics and their cats; research; writing; teaching and outreach; and research assistants.
The winning moggies will receive a professorship certificate, a mortarboard and a collar tag, and will be made Mice Chancellors of Academia Obscura (@MiceChancellor). They’ll also be entered into the Academic Cats Hall of Fame. Their owners will receive a signed copy of forthcoming Academia Obscura book.
