An orange cat somehow wandered on to a busy Queens highway in New York and hide under an SUV as traffic roared around it. That’s when a New York police officer stopped traffic and picked the terrified cat off the road.

The cat clung to the officer until the officer placed the cat on the grass. That’s when the cat bolted for safety. When you hear stories of police officers rescuing cats, it makes you realize how much cats can bring people together of all types.
