Brittany Maher-Kirk owns a cat named Ted. One day, Brittany’s mom sent a cat advent calendar to Ted by mail. However, Brittany was unable to collect the package because the package had been addressed to Ted.
“Unfortunately, we missed the delivery and the post office won’t give it to me as the cat does not have ID,” Brittany said.
Brittany had to show up at the post office in person to claim Ted’s package and when she did, the post office employees helped her cut through the red tape. “They thought it was hilarious and just laughed at me,” she said.
Ted now has his package, just in time for Christmas, thanks to the post office employees. To read more about Ted’s problem with the post office, click here.
