When Ellis Huston’s cat, Bart, got hit by a car, he buried Bart in the backyard. Yet Bart was still alive and managed to claw his way out of the grave. Now the Tampa Bay Humane Society has nursed Bart back to life and is waging a custody battle to keep Bart.
Bart is now thriving in the care of the Humane Society despite his original owner wanting him back. The next time you think you’ve had a bad day, just be thankful you don’t have to climb out of your own grave just to live another day like Bart did.
