As much as people in different parts of the wold hold different opinions, nearly everyone around the world can agree that cats are adorable. That’s why the cat cafe craze, that has spread from Asia, has now moved across the world to places in Europe and North America as well. That means Casnnonborough, South Carolina may soon get a cat cafe of its own.
Ashley Brooks, used to work at a cat cafe in Washington D.C. but wanted to come back to Charleston when she finished grad school. “From there I started brainstorming with a few people in Charleston, and everyone thought it would be a huge hit,” she said.
Like other cat cafes, patrons will have a chance to interact with cats and adopt one if they wish. The cat cafe helps socialize the cats while providing entertainment for the customers.
