Feral cats are a problem everywhere, but it’s becoming a growing problem in Little Rock, Arkansas. Since capturing and caring for feral cats isn’t always practical (feral cats usually make lousy pets), authorities in Little Rock want to create a feral cat colony.
A feral cat colony would allow feral cats to roam freely but allow authorities to sterilize them. Once sterilized, feral cats can’t breed but can live out their lives in the freedom of the outdoors. The only problem with this plan is that it might allow feral cats to kill more birds and other wildlife.
