Many people like cats but may not be able to care for them due to health issues. That’s why Hasbro has made a robotic cat that purrs and acts just like a real cat minus the attitude and usual mess that a cat makes in (or out) of a litter box.
Hasbro’s $99 robotic cat may be inexpensive compared to adopting a real cat, but can it really replace a living cat? A writer for Popular Science tried Hasbro’s cat and found pros and cons with a robot cat. The verdict is that if you can afford to care for a real cat, you’ll get more enjoyment out of it, but a robotic cat can be a substitute nevertheless.
