Students get detentions for a variety of reasons, some of the justified and some of them simply because the teacher sees detention as a way to keep students in line. However, one students got a detention for disturbing other classmates with cat pictures during class.
Given the fact that many adults are distracted at work by viewing cat videos on the Internet, it’s not surprising that students would be distracted by looking at cat pictures as well. Perhaps when these kids get older, they can indulge in their cat picture fantasies by looking at cat videos like most adults do when they don’t feel like doing anything productive at work.
