Normally you don’t see the words “Taser” and “rescue” in the same sentence, but that’s what happened when police in Nebraska spotted a cat stranded six meters up in a tree.
Thinking quickly, an officer used the red light on a Taser to entice the cat down. Surprisingly, it worked and the cat is now safely back on the ground where it belongs. The next time a cat gets stuck in a tree, ask your neighborhood police officer to use a Taser’s red light to entice the cat back down again. If it worked in Nebraska, it might work on any stranded cats in your neighborhood.
