Used bookstores never seem quite right unless they have a cat. In Chicago, one of the most popular used bookstores with a cat is called Selected Works Used Books and Sheet Music.
The cat who lives in that bookstore, on South Michigan Avenue, is named Hodge. Hodge is so popular that he’s even inspired someone to write a book, The Secret Life of Hodge, the Bookstore Cat, that chronicles Hodge’s fictional adventures as he reads novels, watches YouTube videos and navigates his relationships with two female cats.
