When Rachel Barbee was moving with the help of her friend, Brittnie Arroyo, Rachel wanted to drop her old couch at the dump. Brittnie convinced her to a local thrift store instead.
When thrift store employees examined the couch, they were surprised to find a cat inside. They quickly posted a Facebook picture of the couch and the cat, asking for the person who dropped off the couch to come retrieve the cat.
Later Rachel and Brittnie spotted the Facebook posting and recognized the cat. They quickly retrieved the missing cat, thanks to their decision to send the couch to a thrift store.
