Although there are plenty of stories where dogs and cats not only get along, but actually like each other, cats and dogs are still often at odds with one another. That’s why Erik Stehmann, a designer based in the Netherlands, has created a scratching post shaped like a dog.
Not only will such dog-shaped scratching posts look aesthetically pleasing in your home, but it can also be therapeutic for your cat to scratch, claw, and attack. Now if you also have dogs in your house, this might not go over so well with your canine friend, but you can be sure your feline pet will enjoy the discomfort on the dog’s face when he or she spots a scratching post that looks like a dog.
