When it first appeared in theaters, Alfred Hitchcock’s film, “Psycho,” made an immediate impact. After watching the shower scene, many people were terrified of taking a shower again. Although relatively tame by today’s standards, “Psycho” broke new ground in film making and story telling.
That’s why Ezgi Turkmen filmed his cat watching “Psycho.” Surprisingly, the cat seems to understand the action on the television screen to the point of freaking out with big eyes during the most suspenseful part of the movie. Then like many people, the cat freaks out and takes off running to avoid watching any more.
