For many people, their pets are their babies. For many other people, their babies are their babies, so when you bring a baby into a house that already has cats, you might expect the cat to be jealous or territorial.

That may happen with some cats, but not with one ginger cat who discovered an infant named Emily. At first glance, the cat doesn’t seem to know what to make of the baby. After satisfying itself that the baby is harmless, the cat then curls up next to the infant. Both the infant and the cat seem happy with each other’s presence.
