Kevin Rudd, Australia’s former prime minister, posted a video of himself with his cat, Mei Mei, sleeping on his shoulder.
“Pussycat, this is really not comfy. I’m trying to read an article,” Mr Rudd says.
“Do you intend to move, even a little bit?
“Doesn’t look like it. Oh well, we’ll read it together shall we.”
Captioned “kitten pillow anyone?”, the video has already had more than 100,000 views. Now if more politicians would film cat videos, perhaps they might be more popular and considered more trustworthy.
