It’s not surprising that cats are adept at catching birds. After all, cats are still wild animals and efficient stalkers and killers of wildlife. However, one cat found out the hard way that a glass window can often defeat even the best stalking technique.

This black cat spotted a bird chirping happily on a tree branch just outside a window. The cat think it has a clear shot at the bird and pounces — only to be foiled from its intended prey by the glass.
