Cats typically live around 10-15 years, but a Siamese cat named Scooter is currently living far beyond that normal lifespan. Born during President Ronald Reagan’s administration, Scooter has been named by Guinness World Records as the world’s oldest living cat at 30 years old.

Owner Gail Floyd attributes Scooter’s longevity to staying active. Some of Scooter’s favorite activities include getting blow-dried after baths and snacking on chicken every other day. If you want to keep your cat alive as long as possible, consider spoiling it with good food and luxurious living that you’ll deny yourself.
