Cat cafes are now common in Asia, but they’re slowly spreading to the rest of the world as well. Now Winnipeg, Canada will get their first cat cafe so residents don’t have to travel to another city to visit cats and sip beverages.
Miss J.La’s Fur Babies and Cat Adoption Centre will be a place to relax, have a coffee and play with cats, all of whom will be up for adoption. The cost will be $10 an hour to play with the cats, who will be on loan from a local animal shelter. If you live in Winnipeg or just happen to be visiting, spend a little time in the cat cafe and help support a cat.
