Most people think of cats as either housebound or wild and roaming free. Yet cats can do both. They might stay in the house most of the time but they can go outside with their owners.
That’s why Purina is sponsoring Take Your Cat on an Adventure Day on June 15th. The goal is to bust the stereotype that cats are only indoor or only outdoor cats, but that indoor cats can enjoy going outside once in a while as well.
Just focus on safety for both you and your cat. You want your cat safe from dogs and you want to keep yourself safe from your cat if it freaks out and claws your face off in panic after being chased by a dog.
