When Jenna Shamata moved to Toronto, she soon found herself lost in the big city full of strangers. That’s when Caesar the cat entered her life.

One day, Jenna heard meowing and spotted a cat on the roof across from her balcony. As the cat’s owner arrived along with others, the neighbors tried to come up with ways to rescue Caesar off the roof.

Their collected efforts were finally rewarded when Caesar gingerly crawled across a ladder stretched from the rooftop to Jenna’s balcony, and made it to safety back into its owner’s arms.

Thanks to Caesar, Jenna says she no longer feels her neighbors are strangers any more, all because they worked together to rescue Caesar from the rooftops.
