In Stockton Heath, Warrington, there’s a swing bridge that swivels to the side so boats can cruise along the river without their masts running into the bottom of the bridge. While this swing bridge swung around to let a boat pass by, a black and white cat strolled casually along the road.

When the cat reached the end of the bridge, it patiently waited until the bridge swung back to the road. Once the bridge locked in place, the cat jumped from the bridge to the road and continued on its way.

While it’s not recommended that anyone (let alone any animal) stroll along the edge of any swing bridge, this cat clearly had no worries and acted as if it knew exactly how the bridge would behave so it could get across to the other side.
