In Houston, a woman spotted a stray cat wandering along the freeway. Ignoring her own safety, this woman proceeded to chase the cat down to rescue it before it could get hit by a cat.
Police showed up to block traffic for the woman so she could capture and rescue the stray cat in a towel. Although the woman put herself in danger, police likely won’t file charges because she had a good reason.
The next time you see a stray cat roaming around a busy street, be sure to keep yourself safe and then look after the welfare of the kitty. Rescuing cats is a noble cause, but make sure you don’t get hurt in the process. That way you’ll always be healthy enough to rescue more cats in the future.
