Back in 2014, a Russian cat named Matroskin got loose in the Vladivostok Airport seafood market and ate nearly $1000 of seafood. When the video of Matroskin went viral, the local Russian hockey team adopted him.

Sadly, Matroskin passed away so to remember the famous seafood-eating cat, the Russians decided to erect a permanent statue outside the arena. Fans gathered around the statue and shared tender embraces with the majestic feline.

If a cat can get famous for eating seafood, perhaps people can try the same tactic. Then again, most people will just wind up getting overweight with no increase in fame whatsoever, but that’s because they’re not a cat.
