There’s a new book called “Cat Wars: The Devastating Consequences of a Cuddly Killer.” The basic premise of the book is that cats may look cute and harmless, but they’re actually ruthless killers out to destroy everything around them.

Not only do cats kill for pleasure, but they’re extremely efficient at doing so as well (much like humans). The authors claim that cats are an invasive species who often wipe out thousands of birds a year.

While cat owners can’t dispute the facts, they can argue that even though cats may be merciless killers, they’re still cute anyway. If you’re going to have a destructive animal near you, wouldn’t you want one that’s fuzzy and photogenic so you can capture its antics on video to post on the Internet for everyone to enjoy?
