At one time, Los Angeles had zero cat cafes. Soon they’ll have two cat cafes with the latest addition popping up in Culver City. Dubbed CatCafe Lounge, owner Kristi Galvan describes the space as a “catopia” (as in cat utopia) that gives the felines free reign of the place, with big trees for them to climb through and a staging area for coffee drinkers to interact with those who might feel like a quick pet.

Since this is Los Angeles, the show business capital of the world, the CatCafe Lounge even has a YouTube video announcing its arrival much like a movie trailer promoting an upcoming blockbuster. If you live in the Los Angeles area or just plan on visiting, drop by the latest cat cafe and enjoy a beverage and some cats.
