George Lampros shared video to Twitter as he and teammate Max Sergio used a bucket to hoist up to safety.
George Lampros and his high school football player teammate Max Sergio are heroes. They happened to find a cat caught in a drain pipe so they got a crow bar and pried the drain cover off.
Once they had the cover off, they lowered a bucket down the drain pipe where a cat had become trapped. The cat climbed into the bucket and the two teammates pulled the cat to safety. Now their coach is calling them, the team’s “most valuable people.”
