Cats tend to sleep 25 hours a day and when they wake up, they immediately need to recharge by taking another nap before going back to sleep. While cats tend to sleep far more than government workers ever do, the big difference is that cats often nap in the strangest poses.

Cats seem able to nap even while their bodies are twisted in shapes that in humans would constitute torture. Perhaps this is because cats are actually boneless or that cats might actually be furry incarnations of liquid. Whatever the case, cats can fall asleep in the strangest positions and photographs captured of cats help reveal this oddity of life.
