Far too many people think that black cats are bad luck. What they don’t realize is that owning any cat is bad luck because now you’re stuck being a full-time servant to your cat for the rest of the cat’s life.
However, sometimes cats can repay the favor. In the case of Glen Schallman, he suffers from three separate brain diseases, the combination of which cause frequent seizures. If the seizure occurs while sleeping, it could keep a person from breathing.
Fortunately Glen has the help of his black cat, Blake, who bites his toes at night whenever he has a seizure. Blake seems to actually sense when Glen is about to have a seizure and takes care to wake him up before anything can happen.
